Oceanum sells metocean data and tools to ports and navigation, offshore energy, aquaculture, coastal engineering and research customers. It runs wave and coastal models (SWAN, FUNWAVE, WAVEWATCH III, SCHISM) for forecasts and builds historical hindcasts from ERA5, plus long-term scenarios such as sea level rise under IPCC pathways. Datamesh is its engine and interface for serving environmental data to people and machines; Oceanum Apps adds dashboards, tools and alerts; and the custom data service builds datasets for a site. Delivery is by API for hyperlocal forecast guidance, web apps and file downloads. Named users include the New Zealand Defence Force science agency, Antarctica New Zealand and Auckland Council.
