AVTECH Sweden sells weather services to airlines. Aventus sends real-time winds and temperatures, built on UK Met Office data at 10 km resolution, to the aircraft's flight management system for climb, cruise and descent planning. ClearPath Safety flags turbulence, clear air turbulence, cumulonimbus, SIGMETs and cold temperatures along the planned route, and ClearPath Optimization adds real-time 4D trajectory and speed optimisation. Data is uplinked over ACARS or IP and satellite links, printed to the cockpit printer or shown in an iPad app, with no new cockpit hardware. A dashboard gives fuel teams analytics. Named customers include Southwest, easyJet, SAS, Wizz Air, LATAM and Volaris. ProFlight offers a 30-day free trial; airline prices are by demo.
