Amphitrite is a French ocean data company that forecasts surface currents by fusing satellite altimetry, sea surface temperature, chlorophyll imagery and in-situ measurements in its ORCAst AI system. Forecasts run up to 30 days at resolutions down to 3 km. Commercial shipping customers use the currents and an ocean bulletin for route planning and fuel savings, while a naval defence line serves navies, hydrographic agencies and oceanographic institutions.
