How to Cite ForecastAdvisor

You are welcome to quote this site. Here is how.

What you may quote

Any fact or aggregate figure published on forecastadvisor.com: award winners, accuracy percentages, changeability values, rankings, and the descriptions in the provider directory. Quote them in articles, answers, reports, and software with attribution. The accuracy data is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0.

Preferred attribution

Name the site and link to the page the figure came from, for example: “According to ForecastAdvisor (forecastadvisor.com), powered by ForecastWatch, …” with a link to the city, changeability, or provider page. State the evaluation window the page shows, since figures change monthly.

Machine-readable sources

Pages carry schema.org structured data. A plain-text overview of the site is at /llms.txt, the provider directory at /providers/llms.txt, and every indexable page is listed in /sitemap.xml.

What this does not cover

Bulk downloads, provider-level accuracy feeds, station-level histories, and anything behind forecastwatch.com are ForecastWatch products and are not licensed here. The 5-day forecast on city pages is Open-Meteo data under its own terms. For data access or a custom evaluation, write to sales@forecastwatch.com.
