What the provider directory forms collect and what happens to it.
What the forms collect
The help, correction, missing provider, Verified, claim, and vendor contact forms collect the name, email address, company, and message you type, plus the page you submitted from. To limit abuse we count submissions per connection in a short-lived cache, keyed by a hash of your IP address or email address. We do not store your IP address with your message, and we do not use cookies on these forms beyond those needed to keep you signed in as a vendor.
Who receives it
Help, correction, missing provider, and Verified messages go to the ForecastAdvisor team. A message sent through a vendor's contact form goes to that vendor, along with the name and email address you entered, so the vendor can reply to you. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for 18 months and then delete them. Vendor claims that were not approved are deleted after 12 months. Approved claims are kept for as long as the listing is claimed.
Deletion requests
To have your messages or claim deleted sooner, write to info@forecastadvisor.com from the address you used.
